Houston Takers

The Houston Takers are an American Basketball Association (ABA) team in Houston, Texas, United States. The team was previously known as the Houston Undertakers, named after Houston native Mark Calaway, better known as The Undertaker, a famous professional wrestler in WWE. However, the team changed the name because the earlier name was very unpopular among fans and players alike.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Houston team changes name, gets ready for second half )
The team is headed by owner and businessman, Larry D. Leonard, II and Shuwana Leonard.
In 2010, the team announced they will no longer go by the Takers, opting to be called the Houston Red Storm.
